シカゴの老舗スタジオ「Joyride Studio」で、ピアノとボーカルLee Kanehira 、アップライトベースJohn W. Lauler、そしてドラムDerek Hendricksonのトリオで、戦前に活躍したタンパ・レッドの名曲「MIDNIGHT BOOGIE」を演奏しました。ブギ・ウギの中毒性を体現した、楽しいダンスナンバーになりました！ぜひ聴いてみてください。

そして9月にはアルバム『THE CHICAGO BLUES PIANO TRIO!!』のリリース予定です。楽しみにしていてください。

The lead single “Midnight Boogie” from her third and best album, “The Chicago Blues Piano Trio!!” on Waggy Murphy’s Records is now available on streaming!!

Recorded in a single session at Chicago’s long-established Joyride Studio, where numerous blues legends have recorded their Grammy-winning classics, it captures a dynamic live performance by Lee Kanehira on piano and vocals, accompanied by John W. Lauler on upright bass and Derek Hendrickson on drums. This fresh and flamboyant cover of the blues giant Tampa Red is a super fun dance number that will give you the boogie woogie frenzy.

It’s a groove you can’t help dancing to…so let’s get ready for the party!

The album “The Chicago Blues Piano Trio!!” is scheduled for release on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024.

シカゴブルースフェスティバルは、毎年多くのブルース愛好者が集まる一大イベントです。今年のメインステージ最終日6/9にOtis Spann TributeとThe Cash Box Kingsライブの２つのショーでLeeは演奏します。当日のヘッドライナーは大きなツアーからの引退を予定しているBuddy Guyです。

シカゴブルースフェスティバルはYoutubeでのストリーミング配信を一部行っています。Leeは現地時間6/9日の17時、日本時間6/10月の朝7時より出演予定です。この機会にオンラインでも現地の人々とその場の空気を感じ、盛り上がりましょう！

The Chicago Blues Festival is the world’s largest blues event, attracting many blues enthusiasts every year. This year, Lee will perform in two shows on the final day of the main stage: the Otis Spann Tribute and the live performance by The Cash Box Kings. The headliner for the day is Buddy Guy, who plans to retire from extensive touring.

The Chicago Blues Festival will also have some streaming available on YouTube. Lee is scheduled to perform at 5 PM local time on June 9th, which is 7 AM on June 10th in Japan. This is a great opportunity to join the locals online and feel the atmosphere of the event. Let’s enjoy and get excited together!
